Nantes
In just 30 minutes by car from the campsite, you can reach Nantes and the Château des Ducs de Bretagne. The château, Saint-Jacques church, Notre-Dame church and Domaine de la Garenne Lemot are just some of the attractions on offer in the Venice of the West.
Noirmoutier
Finally, it’s impossible to mention the most beautiful towns in Vendée without mentioning the islands, spearheaded by Noirmoutier. With its salt marshes, butterfly island, Herbaudière port, fine sandy beaches and 40 km of coastline, the island of Noirmoutier is a small island paradise easily accessible from the Lac de la Chausselière campsite.

Base nautique de la Bultière, a getaway between lake and forest
If you’re looking for an original Vendée activity, try your hand at archery or orienteering around Lac de la Bultière! This 70-hectare artificial lake is also the perfect playground for family water sports activities. You can rent a kayak, canoe or stand-up paddle to navigate the calm waters of the lake in complete safety. Back on dry land? Mechanical animals from La Roche-sur-Yon, an unusual attraction in the heart of downtown
Make way for one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Vendée. La Roche-sur-Yon, a city created by Napoleon, has a square bearing the emperor’s name that attracts many visitors. The motif? Mechanical animals installed on water basins to delight children. These include a crocodile, a hippopotamus, colorful frogs, an otter, an owl and pink flamingos.

Steam train of Vendée

The concerts are organized on two sites that can accommodate 10,000 and 5,000 people.
